oxygen sensor location?

I plan on replacing the O2 sensor(s) shortly in my 1988 1500 pickup with the 305, and was wondering how many there were and where theyre located. Also, i heard there are hot sensors and regular sensors, which would I need?? Thanks!

The sensor is located in the exhaust manafold, there is usually 1. i havent seen more then 1.
