Part-Time or Full-time.........
Transfer case?
I have a 1991 Chevy 4x4, 350 V8, automatic. The transfer case shifter is on the floorboard (4L, N, 2H, and 4H). The window spec indicates its is a 4x4 All Trac transfer case. Is it full-time, or part time (I am guessing part-time)? Thanks for your help.

I looked up ALL-TRAC today, they appear to be a very popular AWD drivetrain with Toyota and other imports.
Saw no mention of GM usage. Unless you can get a definitive answer, I'd err on the side of caution and only use the 4WD in low-traction situations(where the wheels will slip a little, at least). Until you've verified it's a full-time unit.
Replacing a blown transfer case can get REAL expensive.
