Possible blown head gasket?

Possible blown head gasket?
A little background first, I've got a 1994 chevy 1500 v6. Its got some miles on it, thats for sure. The other week on my way to covina, about 20 minutes away, my truck over heated on me. After several stops at the gas station and leaving the radiator cap off, I was able to get it home. The problem was a bad freeze plug. I replaced the freeze plug, but Its just acting very strange. Sometimes I'll go to check the water, and it will be very low, I'll add some, and then the next day it appears to be low again. It doesn't seem to be leaking anymore. My dad put some fix a leak thing in the radiator, I know, bad idea But can't blame the guy for trying. Now i just don't know if its a blown head gasket, or me being paranoid. Any help?

If in the morning the truck runs rough this could mean a head gasket problem. If you don't see water leaking out it has to be going some where. So I would say it could very possiblebe head gaskets.

well it could be the head gasket if you check your oil and it is a light brown almost creamy then the water is leaking in to the oil or if your trucks exaust smells funny or a lot of smoke coming from the exaust it would be a head gasket problem
