Default power loss, engine pop

1987 350 TBI. On my way to work this morning my engine lost power and started popping out of the exhaust. I slowed from 65 to about 45 and the popping subsided then came back. I pulled over and checked the distributor and coil wiring harnesses and found nothing loose. The distributor is also in tact and secure. I crept to work with the engine popping.

I recently changed the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil and throttle body. The truck ran fine the last 1000 miles. Could I have lost the computer advance? Any ideas?

How many miles? I'd check the timing chain/gears if they are original, maybe time to replace. May have jumped time!!

I changed the timing chain last summer. Is there a computer advance? How do I check it?
