Does anyone know how much spring pressure the wiper arm should have?
I think this may be part of the problem on 97 p/u.New blades last a couple of weeks then go downhill fast. Thanks for any help.

I have tried every brand available over the years.
What about using a fish scale to lift wiper and read pull/pressure?

You read my mind Brent. After I found out there was not a published spec., I thought about going to the local chevy dealer with my fish scale and learn a little about wipers.
