Default random misfire???

I usually don't post to forums because I can usually find a problem close to mine but this is a mystery. I have 1997 k1500 pickup it has 240,000 miles on it. no check engine light but I can pull a code of p0300 (random misfire). there's no specific time that it does it. the random misfire comes and goes no real pattern to it. things ive replaced: fuel pump, fuel filter, egr valve, ignition coil, camshaft position sensor, rotor, dist. cap, wires, spark plugs, and a brand new intake system from Volant. any suggestions?
