Replacing an UnHeated Towing Mirror with a Heated Mirror??
I need to replace the drivers side mirror on my 2008 Silverado. It's the slide-out towing mirror. The mirror I have doesn't have electric derfost but the only mirror I can find (with a turn signal) is from a 2007 Sierra and it does have the electric defrost. Will this mirror fit?
I'm pretty certain that the mirror itself will fit on my Silverado body, but I'm mostly concerned ifthe wiring harness will plug into my existing wiring???

I bet it will. I can't imagine a manufactor would have more than one wiring harness for any vehicle type. It would be cost prohibitive. I changed from a standard rear view mirror to a compass mirror and it plugged rigt in.

id say yes since iv talked to GM techs face to face all the time.
and they have said the NBS is pretty much wired the same from the WT to the LTZ
and if it came factor with towing pacage its got the wiring for the trailer brakes behind the dash.
