I have an '02 silverado and acn't get the hoist to lower. I made sure the tool was on the shaft, but it wouldn't turn at all. It seems the cable is twisted up in side the hoist and the plat on the hoist is riveted. Does anyone have any ideal's.
Thanks,
Kenny

I cant get the Hoist End of the wrench to engage into the male end inside the assembly. I tapped on it with a hammer while turning but the end of the extension just will not connect into the male end it just spinds and will not engage.

I am using the correct end of the wrench by the way, the female not the male.

Use the male end of the bar, at least on my 2002 Silverado it works that way.
