Help with tires on 96 Z71

Im running 285/75/16 on my truck now...Is it possible to run a 315/75/16 without a lift? Has anyone tried it?

It is possible to run the 315/75/16 without any lift but you would have to cut a a lil of of your front fenders and even then it will rub if you wheel it hard enough.
