Stock wheels/new tires...
I have a 2006 Silverado and I just threw on some stock wheels off of a 2014 Z71 Silverado. They are 265/65/18. I want to switch to a little shorter and wider tire due to the fact that I am lowering my truck. Any ides how wide of a tire I can get on that stock wheel?? Thanks for any help/tips!

How much drop you want? Little idea, an old online friend had these specs on his '06 silverado 1500 LT
20" ltz stock wheels 275/40 tires
4/6 drop-McGaughy's components
With right drop I think you can go 285 with right tire. Good choices are either some Nitto Tires like Dura Grappler or Dune grappler or Falken Zien, very good grip and wear life
