Summer Wheels
Thanks to all that have helped me before with other questions I've had.
I would like to start saving up for a Set of 4 wheels and Tires for summertime use only on my 2006 Silverado 1500 LT Extended Cab 4WD. I know that the largest I can go at the moment is 33" in total tire size, I have leveling kit and 285/70/17's installed on stock wheels now. I would like to get 20" wheels. Any help on Offset, width and best places to buy would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to All those who decide to Help!

I'd stick with a 20x9 for, any wider and you'd be rubbin like crazy. Do you want a 33x12.5x20? Or something a little skinner? -12 offset on a 33x12.5x20 runs just a hair on a levelin kit truck. Negative offset pushes out, positive pulls in

I had just a levelin kit with 33x12.5x20s on a 20x9 with a -12 offset and I thought it was perfect. It made the tires stick out about an inch or so just like you want. If that's what you want then go that route..it will rub a little bit at full lock but just do some trimming and you'll be ok

Thank you Much! I appreciate the input. I will post some photos of the truck when I get home tonight. Still have more ideas like a CAI, and Exhaust system. I saw that your truck has a true exhaust. Did you install it yourself? If so how long did that take you? I also need to get a tuner as well to adjust speedo and eventually to adjust for the CAI and Exhaust.

Nah it had the exhaust when my dad had it. He had a muffler shop install it all. Get the exhaust, intake, and vette servo first, then contact blackbearperformance or gowheatley and get a custom tune.
