Have you had the opportunity to stop by the dealer for an inspection? Is this a recent or recurring issue? I look forward to your response.

It's a recent issue..I can hear the motor working. It will open to the vent position but not all the way to the open position..when it gets to the vent position it makes a clicking grinding noise like its stuck and won't go all the way back

It is difficult to diagnose a problem like this over the internet. I would suggest you visit your local dealer and have them take a look at it. They should be able to offer a more accurate diagnosis and resolution. Please keep me posted on the progress. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

its been taken to the dealer..they didnt have a clue like they dont on most issues..they could never stop the leak in it before and i figured it out because these sunroof assemblies are a major problem in the silverados..if they want to know how to fix it, then they will have to pay for my info..hahahahahha.
