i have a rough idle issue with my 1992 k1500 5.7. I have a newer 350 with about 30 000kms on it an edelbrock intake manifold with poweraid throttle body spacer and stock throttle body with about 300 000 kms on it but still in good shape and pretty clean. I just did a tune up including new plugs ac delco rapid fire, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, fuel filter, oxygen sensor, and pcv valve. So this is the deal when i first start the truck in the morning it revs at about 1500rpm and does not retain normal idle unless i give it a little throttle. Now idle is smooth untill i put it in gear then the rpms drop to a near stall but it doesnt it just idles low and surges. When i apply throttle the truck runs great ive notice an increase in acceleration due to the tune up but cant put a finger on the rough idle culprit.
