Default Throttle position sensor issue.

Hello all, proud owner of an 08 Chevy Silverado, 5.3. Im getting an OBDII code for the Throttle/Accelerator Pedal position sensor problem. I have changed both sensors with new parts and reset the check engine light with my code reader but the same code keeps coming back. Any suggestions on how to solve my dilemma?

Default

Try wiggling the wires to the throttle body and see if that changes anything ,even try pulling each wire by itself to see if a wire is loose in the terminal

Also look inside the passenger kick panel water has been known to intrude to the connecters and corrode the wires ,there is a TSB on this from GM

You might also look inside the throttle body to see if the throttle plate is not closing completely due to crud buildup

Default Recall......

Check with the dealer on this one. I received a letter in the mail a year and a half or so ago regarding the tps. I believe it's only one of two recalls for this truck. If my memory serves me correctly the idle was jumping a bit and my fuel consumption went up when the tps started acting up.
