Would putting the headers on with the ORY be okay to run without the the tune to tune out the post o2 sensor? Or should I not even bother until I can afford the tune and headers at once?

I'd do them all at once. Without those sensors tuned out the truck will run pretty bad. Order headers now, get them in, save and get tune. simple as that bud.

Oh and with the Texas Speed stainless headers you'll have to take out the EGR valve. Get it tuned out as well and the tuner can adjust for it bein off the truck. You'll also need a expansion plug to plug the hole it leaves on the intake manifold for no vacuum leaks. They're 4 bucks verses the 22 dollar plug GM has.

this is the one I used.

Yeah i'll probably order the headers now since i see that there on sale. So did you actually remove the EGR or just the hose that runs from the EGR to the manifold?

So was going to order the Texas speed stainless with the pacesetter ORY and they said that either of there ORY withholding fit a 4 wheel drive cause the transfer case gets in the way. So now I'm not sure what to do now. Anyone know if it.actually fits a 4 wheel drive? Texas speed seemed to tell me otherwise.
