Default Tire size question

I've got 285/75/16's on my truck right now. I want a wider tire. I don't really get the measurements. I know 16 is the rim but I want to know what number to change to still keep them 33" but wider. They don't have to be exactly 33" and how wide can I go on my stock Chevy rim

Its got a 2" block on the back and a 3" leveling kit and 1/4" wheel spacers to keep the tires from rubbing

You could damn near run a 35 on a that truck with a levelin kit. Widest I'd go is a 305/xx/16. Basically a 12.5 wide tire

I've thought about that. I might go with something about 34". I found some tires in 305/70/16 General Grabber AT2's. It says there 12" wide and a little bigger then my tires. Has anyone had these tires and are they any good
