Default Transmission electrical connector inside pan.

Hello! I am changing the electrical harness along with some solenoids in the transmission on my 94 C1500. I have taken the pan off, removed and replace the TCC solenoid, but I am now trying to replace the solenoid and harness that remains. I have taken the harness off, but now, the electrical connector that attaches to the harness is just hanging there inside the transmission. Is there a way to plug the harness in without dropping the transmission? I have attached a picture of the connector. Thanks! Mike

Not quite sure what you have? Is the connector hanging but you can't get to it? If thats the case, can you reach it with mechanical fingers?

I can get to it, but the harness will not connect because the female pictured is not stationary. It just hangs inside the transmission.

Can you grab hold of one of those outside "ears" with needle nose pliers? Looks like the 4 outside "ears" are not where the plug rolls onto.

Yeah. I can grab them. The plug won't come through the hole though. I didn't know if I could get access to the back of it to hold it firm if I removed the valve body, or if there was access some other way.

If you can grab it, will the male end clear, and then can you roll it on?
