I am about to service my transmission, I went to pep boys to get the transmission filter kit and fluid, but they were not sure of the capacity of my transmission. My manual doesn't say either. I looked in section 5-134 of the owners manual, and it gives capacities for refrigerate, oil, diffrential, gas, but not transmision. I was hoping someone here could tell me. I was getting the mercon dextron VI pennzoil fluid, but did not know how many quarts to buy. I have a chevrolet silverado 2006 with 5.3 liter flex fuel engine. If anyone knows the right fluid capacity here I would appreciate it? thanks
