Default worth keeping/restoring?

hi, im new to the forum. recently bought my first truck. 1992 silverado 4x4 shortbed with a 350. this truck runs great! i bought it with the intentions of restoring it, and lifting it. unfortunately, it needs quite a bit of body work done and a new exhaust. the rocker panels, wheel wells, and cab corners are pretty rusted. its kinda hard to tell from this picture though.(only picture i have) ive gotten alot of mixed opinions on whether it'd be worth putting the money into from friends. so i wanted to come on here and ask someone who might have been in a similiar situation or know more than me. thanks!

it could be nice if you did keep it and restore it. paint it gloss black and lift with rims and tires would be smokin.

whats the miles on this thing?

If you do the work yourself, it would be better to keep and restore. Newer vehicles are expensive, even used. If running as nice as you say, no reason to get rid of it.
