Default CEL on, then off - codes U0100, U0073, and P0700

Twice in the last two weeks I've had my check engine light come on, and then go off again after a few driving cycles - the first time, right after I brought it into the shop, which sent me on my way with a "come in again if it comes on again" wave.

The codes it's throwing are U0100, U0073, and P0700. There are a few threads sprinkled around the internet for a similar code group for Silverados and Tahoes. The most frequent suggestion is that there's a burnt-out buss bar fuse, and the most frequent response is "the fuse is fine, dangit."

I'm not sure if a burnt fuse's the case here, since the light goes out.

But before I take it in for more serious service, has anyone else seen these codes in this grouping? What was your solution?

Did you ever figure anything out on this? I'm throwing the same codes!
