Engine Stamped Number
Thanks for joining the forum
I had imported Aveo 2009 LS with ecotec 1.6 LXV VVT engine. The rules in Egypt need the stamped engine number (not the written on the sticker) to register the engine in the traffic authority. I did not find the place of this number on the cylinder block to take a pencil impression of it by the traffic authority. They gave 15 days to tell them about the place. I imported my car from USA. They take the chassis number easily. If there is a photo will be much appreciated.
