Shattered Moonroof
I realized one day that the shade to the moonroof wouldn't slide open so I scheduled an appointment to get it checked out. Before anyone from the dealership called to confirm the appointment, my father-in-law was driving it on the freeway and the moonroof shattered without anything hitting it. The car is only 8 months old. Has anyone else had this happen to their Sonic?

I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to me regarding this issue. Right away the dealer assumed that it was an insurance claim. I would have called my insurance company if I had any doubt but the fact that the shade was malfunctioning before the incident made me believe it was a warranty issue. We'll see what they say. Meanwhile, we are short a vehicle. I would like for you to document. I will send a private message with my contact info.
