I don't know about the rest of you but this noise only happens when I'm driving into a head wind at 65mph. It never happens with a tail wind. There has to be something that catches the wind just right to make this noise. If anyone has the chance get behind another car to see if it stops.

Had the same problem on our '07 Aveo5; out of warranty, didn't want to pay GM arm and leg to look at it.
I dropped by my local O'Reilly (Auto Parts), and grabbed a $10 roll of universal weatherstrip (not the crummy gray foam stuff, but the black rubber tubing type). Applied to the inside of the door jamb at top, and the noise is all gone. Notice the factory stripping goes all the way round the door frame; my addition is just along the top:
<table style="width:auto;"><tr><td><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/Zx6FSHyMKcqaJO0q46YBLw?feat=embedwebsite"><img src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_COWoyBJ-FhE/S9tDTs7j94I/AAAAAAAAHy0/RT_u5-NAH3w/s144/photo.jpg" /></a></td></tr></table>
YMMV, but this worked like a charm for me. There are a couple of inches of space without weatherstripping from the factory, and it seems like wind whips over that cavity to create this noise. Could be something else, but this fixed our ungodly howling.
Good luck,
Chris

I can tell you if the noise still continues after it is turned off or gets to that point, it means one of three things:
1. You need a new radiator cap;
2. Replace the hoses to the radiator;
3. Flush your radiator.

I know this is an old thread but I think I'm having the same problem as some of you in this thread. I have an '07 Silverado and theres a loud very annoying whistling sound coming from what sounds like the passenger side bottom corner of the windshield. It's gotten to the point where I won't drive it because of this, any help would be much appreciated! I also have a video of the noise

Picture.
Yeah I know what you're talking about. I had an 07 aveo that did the same thing. It only happened to me when I was driving 85+ though. It's not the bearings so don't go and replace your bearings pre-maturely. If it's the same thing as mine was it was a whistling coming from the passenger wheel-well. The plastic lining in mine was a little loose so it made a whistling noise when I hit high speeds. I just epoxied it down and it stopped.
