Default Best gear ratio for 35s and best overall tire?

Hey guys, I have a 2001 1500HD and I am looking at putting a 6 inch suspension lift and a 3 inch body lift.

I am looking for a good daily driver, highway tire, that still performs on the weekends in the dirt and mud.

EDIT: Best gear ratio for:

35s
37s
38s

Is your truck a "C" or a "K" ?

The tread patterns for Highway and Mud use are quite different. Many who wish the best performance in each task, get a second set of Rims, and change when that duty is required.

As far as the Gear Ratio...
It depends on the Engine Size and Loads you expect to pull/carry. I will say this, that usually "Mudders" don't select a very low ratio gear set, specially when using larger tires.

if your going with 9 inches of lift total i would throw some 37's on there. tire best all around toyo open country mt's ive had mine for 10k miles and they have over 90% tread left. they pull real hard in the mud, gotta have 4x4 though cause they dig deep in 2wd. they arnt very noisy and they look great i will definentally be buying another pair. and as for gearing i would go with some 4.56's

I think that the size of the tires should be the same as your dealer recommends you. You can variate with brands. But you can't with the sizes.
