Park Brake troubles
I have recently purchased a 2005 Tahoe, I'm getting it ready for the DOT inspection which requires an operational park brake....I've I got all the parts together except for the dust boot that covers the brake cable where it enters the backing plate I can't seem to get one anywhere and the dealer wants $300 to buy the whole assembly I just need the $2.00 boot...Does any one have any Ideas?
Thanks Sean

So far the junk yards let them go with the rear ends, and there's not a rear end in town.
So for to make one out of something else it is a pretty unique item...inner tube maybe!
