I have a question, how much freon does a 95 Tahoe hold? I have 2lbs in it already but when it's 90 degree's out..the thing seems like it's not coming out cold enough. When it's 75-80 degree's out..it works fine. I've got it down to about 45 degree's inside..but would like to see if it can go colder by adding/removing freon?? I've replaced the compressor, evap, accumulator, flushed out the lines...

The 1995 Tahoe contains no freon. I know, I used to have one.

On something that old, i'd wager it's running fine...

Pressure is more important, add too much and it won't work :-/

The 95 probably has the R12 freon but could be R134 but regardless if its not getting cold enough when its hot you may want to check the condenser (front most radiator) for excessive debris or damaged fins, if you have added a tranny cooler to the front that could also impact it.
You really need to put a set of gauges on it to know if it has enough freon charge.

the fan clutch may be worth looking at too, if it is slipping too much you may be getting insufficient cooling....

To answer ur question, there should be a decal on the radiator support that tells how many pounds of R-134a it holds w/ & w/o rear A/C.

Another place to check for debris buildup, albeit much harder, is the evaporator.

It's not the Evap, I just put that in a week ago, replaced the condenser, compressor, acculmulator, flushed the lines out...it's just that it didn't have enough freon. I'll add more later today.
