Its a 98 GMC suburban with 5.7. Never had an issue starting before last night. all of a sudden coming out of the gas station it just stopped wanting to start. I have no idea where to even begin. Im hoping this video gives you guys better insight then me trying to describe the sound. Ive tried jumping it with no luck.

Welcome to the forum...
Sounds like the starter is spinning but not engaging the fly wheel... sometimes a whack with a mallet to the starter might get you going for a time or two...

Thanks for the welcome. I appreciate it. How difficult is it to replace the starter and the fly wheel in one of these bad boys? And any DIY

You would only need to replace the starter if that is indeed the problem... there is no need to replace the flywheel unless its damaged.
Replacing the starter is pretty straight forward...
Disconnect the battery as the cable to the starter is live all the time...
there are typically 2 bolts holding the starter in, there may be some shims that will need to be re-used...
disconnect the battery cable and the starter cable connection and re install new starter...

What brand starter would you recommend?

I personally use OEM or AC/Delco parts but your budget will dictate what you put into it... Consider a re-manufactured OEM unit, that will give you the reliability of the factory unit but at a better price...
Once you pull the starter, many automotive places can check them, plus most are going to require a core...
