Default 2003 Tahoe oil leak

I have a 2003 Tahoe that has developed an oil leak around the oil filter. The filter is tight, but it has an pretty heavy leak. What are some ways of fixing this? Three or more filters have not helped. Can the fitting the filter crews onto be replaced? Other ideas? Thanks.

Make sure the mounting surface for the filter is clean with no remnants of an old o ring or gasket. Also make sure that an o ring from an old filter did not not come off the filter and is still there making it 2 o rings which would cause a leak.

Default The Tahoe leak

Filter ring is clean. No leaks on top. It is coming from the oil filter mount (?)
