2004 2500 LT with Autoride - new shocks needed - help!
I have a 2004 2500 LT with the Autoride suspension system and need to replace the rear shocks. Any idea on where I can find them? I''ve done some searching and found a few threads with info on how to fool the computer and feel I can handle that okay if I need to do so.
For standard shocks - any thoughts on what to replace the autoride shocks them with?
How does the autoride system actually work. I know that the sensors and the shock are connected to the computer, but how does the shock atually work?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum.
As far as I know they work just like any air shock. Just a normal shock w/ air leveling. They might also have a ride control feature built in that is computer controlled. As you have probably found out, they are expensive to replace.
