Default 2006 LTZ AWD 4WD system comments

Any comments on the AWD system on a 2006 LTZ 'burb? I have had 'burbs with standard (no auto) push button 4WD and push button with auto mode 4WD. I have never had the AWD in a 'burb before. How does it work in town on snow and ice? I don't mean, how do I use it, I mean how well does it work, is there anything I should watch out for, etc...?

Thanks for any comments,

DPLarson
