Default 2007 Suburban rear liftgate problem.

I have an `07 suburban 1500 LT. I have remote rear hatch release/open/close. Two days ago it quit working. When I push either the inside one remote release button, the lift gate unlatches but will not operate. We have pulled the interior panel off to view the motor. But there is no hum or nothing from the motor. When we disconnect the actuator arm from the lift gate it moves freely. I have looked in the fuze panel trying to find a fuse for the motor, but only found the release fuse. It is fine. Anyone offer any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum.

First there's fuses in two locations, one at the end of the dash on the driver's side and the other under the hood on the driver's side.

Assuming fuses are good, you need to check voltage at the motor when the release is activated. If there's 12 VDC, then probably a motor problem.
