I sometimes will dump 4 to 6 bottles of Techron in a full tank, but usually only if it has 30K miles or more on the odo.
You may also want to try a different gas station and/or a change the grade of gas that you are using.

If you are using Premium fuel (90-92 octane) then stop and go to a lower grade, this engine is not tuned for premium and it will not operate as well on it.
87-88 octane is what it is tuned for.

And thanks for the nice comments.

I use 92 octaine on mine, i will try a lower 87 octaine well my truck only has 3,500 miles and it started with these problems at around 500 miles but have been somewhat improving.....so do you think its safe to put on some more techron or will i damage the injectors? thanks for your replies.......

I wouldn't use any more Techron additive for a while with only 3,500 miles it's just a waste of money.

Many gas stations (more so in the winter months) sell blended unleaded fuel which can contain up to 10% ethanol and in some states up to 15% MTBE (aka: Ether).
These reformulated fuels can make an engine slightly harder to start and rougher running at idle as well, this is why I advise you to try different fueling stations.

ZX, I also have a rough idle when im at a stop or in park.I put some fuel system cleaner (slick 50 the name of the brand) do you think that will help. I did this today and i felt a bit of a diffence in the idle. If I was to add a bottle of techron on my next fill up will it be fine??? And what kind of techron the fuel system cleaner or fuel injector cleaner????(2200 miles on it).

I thought the EPA banned MTBE after it started getting in the ground water.
