Rear View camera

Rear View camera
I have an '07 Tahoe LTZ that I would like to use the factory rear view camera with my aftermarket headunit. Is this possible? Is there any way to tap into the video line?

To answer your basic question - Yes, it can be done!
I am not sure what headunit you have, but some units have different modules available that allow you to retain certain factory features, and easily use the factory connectors.
If that is not an option in your case, I am certain there is a way to tap into the video wire coming from the rear camera and feed it into your headunit. Of course, this all assumes that your aftermarket unit has the ability for a rear camera input.
I wish I could tell you exactly what wire you need, but I just don't know. Maybe someone here has a wire schematic you could use? Either way, I can't imagine it would be all that difficult, and it most definitely can be done.
