-40 C 1996 K2500 SUB won't start
It got to -40 C. I tried starting it for the day, no luck. So, I pulled it into my friend's heated big log truck garage and let it thaw out, still no start. Day 2, Changed plugs and oil.It was flooded...Smell of gas in the oil and wet plugs. Cranked it over without plugs to get rid of any fuel in the cylinders. Let it sit overnight. Day 3, thought it would start right away. No such luck, Battery is good, fuel is getting to injectors, there is spark from sparkplugs.....WTF!!!!!!
Sensor? Any help would be greatly appreciated....Can't afford to take it to a garage right now.
Oh yeah, new Cat converter, new air filter, 6 month old fuel filter.....help!!!! Oh yeah, it's a 7.4 litre 454....... Is this procedure going to be difficult to do? Doesn't look like it has a distributor, flat box with the plug wires plugged in.

Had nothing to do with the timing. Cleaned contacts on sensors, it was the anti-freeze sensor. What happened to the dependable computerless engines, carburators etc.....?
