Default 96 tahoe non rear ac conversion

Hello everyone. Been searching this subject but can't find anything. I have a 1996 ls tahoe 4x4 with no rear ac. Is it possible to install a rear ac in it?

First you would need a donor vehicle in order to have everything needed, such as Headliner and duct work, the rear Evaporator unit and hoses, a lot of wiring harness, and a lot of time. YES it's doable but not advisable. JMHO. good luck.

yep, find a donor at the wrecker with the trans and driveline removed. have a look and see what you have to remove to get these lines in and out.

I have replaced rear lines on a new Durango and its a lot of work with a hoist let alone doing it on your back on the floor.

a larger displacement compressor is used on dual systems.
