99 Suburban Rear Differential is locking up
We have the 8 1/2 inch locking differential and found out the right rear hub seal was bad and all the lube leaked out and the wheel bearing was bad. We replaced the wheel bearing and all and everything went in great and my hubby drove it today and when he turns he says that the the differential is not releasing and the tires are just sliding. There is also the occasional popping sound when he turns as well. Anyone have any ideas on this?

so to make sure we understand correctly, it's a differential with a locker in it, and it's locking up all the time?
is it a selectable locker? aftermarket? 4wd?
