Default 97 tahoe turn signal

i just recently bought a 97 tahoe lt and the turn signals work randomly how do i fix this? p.s. im very new to this kinda stuff so take it easy on me

Welcome to the forum
Does the turn signal arm feel flimsy or loose? might be worth trying to remove the steering wheel shroud and see if you can clean up the contacts on the signal switch...
there is also a connector bundle that goes to the switch that you might try reseating...
IIf I recall you will need a specialty security star bit to remove the steering wheel shroud that you should be able to locate at your local Harbor Fright....
