99 TAHOE / heater is not hot anymore. won't get hot.
I love my 99 Tahoe. ( just wanted to get that out there )
My Tahoe's heater isn't getting hot anymore. It seems to get a little hot but it's not consistent. There where no wierd smells coming from it. ( I do know that in the summer time several months ago when trying to charge the ac pump it was making a wierd noise when the ac would get turned on / not sure if that's relevant at all. ) .
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thnx. Matt

Welcome to the forum
Its possible the heater core could be plugged up, flushing it may help.
If green anti freeze has ever been mixed in with the pink stuff it will create a cheese mix perfect for clogging up a heater core.

99 Tahoe No heat
I have a 99 Tahoe that I absolutely love! Best vehicle I've ever owned!
The challenge I'm having with her is she has no heat. I had the thermostat replaced yesterday. Still no heat.
Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to the forum.
First check for water control valves in the heater hose lines. If it has any, check to make sure that they are opening properly.
Does the engine temperature go up to the normal operating temperature? Does it have rear heat? If it does, does it work?
