Default 99tahoe troubles :(

hi all, i am posting this for a friend....she has a 99 tahoo with the vortec 350, and it will not start.... i know it is getting spark, and it also has fuel psi on the fuel rail valve, and the pump does turn on by listening near the tank.... now, i am wondering what to check next.... if the timing chain was broken i would think that it would still "sputter".... but it does nothing but crank. any help would be greatly appreciated before we just bring it in for a diagnoses.... thanks in advance !!

maybe it has something to do with the wirings. check 'em well. but i think the best thing to do, if you can't do it yourself and the other stuff is to ask a mechanic about the problem. this is to ensure proper repairs too, so not to worry what will happen next with her car parts .

im not worried about doing the repairs.... but i hate to pay the stealership for something that can easily be done by myself. i was thinking that for some reason the injectors were not working.... but im not too familiar with the system on the chevys.

matt, did u put a pressure gauge on it to verify the correct amount? Just b/c u hear the pump doesn’t mean u have sufficient pressure. Pump starting to fail or maybe a plugged fuel filter.

yes, i did verify the fuel psi today to be 60 psi..... plenty of psi, but still wont start. i am thinking that it has to be a sensor somewhere.... all the fuses are good.... but im lost on what to check next !!!
