Aspirator causing security issue??

Aspirator causing security issue??
I certainly made the bonehead move of the day. I replaced the front door speakers on my wife's Suburban and attempted to take care of the "pesky speaker noise" from what I thought was the OnStar speaker above the driver's head. Which, I now have learned by reading here is the HVAC aspirator for climate control. I pulled the cover off, pulled the wires down through the hole and snipped them. When I did that the door chime immediately went off and the Security light started flashing. I tried to start the truck and it wouldn't start.
I pulled the headliner down, spliced the wires back together and reinstalled the aspirator and the truck still won't start.
Any suggestions? I am going to go and start checking fuses. I have really screwed up this time...
Thanks,
John

My wife informed me that the security light always flashes on the truck, so maybe this isn't related? All I know is that the truck will not start and I smell fuel. It turns over, fires, then immediately dies.
Does anyone at least have a schematic so that I can see where the 4 wires come from?
I appreciate any help or suggestions.

Interesting to note... My buddy said that when his passlock malfunctioned, his car cranked continuously, and didn't start. My truck cranks over one revolution, tries to start and then dies.
Does that mean something is wrong in the ignition circuit?
Thanks, John
