BCM issues
i have researched and noted all posts regarding......dead battery, etc that seems to come back to the BCM. now my rear liftgate will not open at all....and yes i checked the overhead button. i'm convinced the BCM is the culprit. the dealer says it' $100 per hr to do a scan and could take several hours. what?? also, why can't i open the tailgate manually?

BCM issues
when everything shuts down, as is the case often (electrical), i can usually disconnect the negative terminal and reconnect. seems to reboot the system. does that mean that the BCM just needs to be reprogrammed, or is it damaged? and why is this not a service bulletin since so many folks have the same issue?

We're sorry for your trouble, wznhnt. We see you've been working through a few fixes yourself, but have been unable to come up with a lasting solution. If you're interested in taking your vehicle into a certified Chevrolet dealership for diagnosis and repairs we're more than happy to stay involved throughout the process. We can be reached via private message if interested.

cost
how much is the BCM vs. the hourly rape fee of the dealer? (I mean 'labor').
can you find someone with the same vehicle and test?
Can you find someone who can sell you a BCM with a liberal return policy?
