Best year suburban 2500 ??
Hello,
i am a complete noob to Suburbans and need some input about these great vehicles as i am thinking about to get one for a road trip.
I am looking in the direction 1999 4x4 2500 LT with barn doors and 100000 - 150000 miles on the odometer, a moderate lift and a extra gas tank would be nice but not necessary.
It will be used on and off road, no hardcore 4x4 but travelling backroads byways and some mild trails.
So what is the best year in reliability, inside space?
Paint, rust, gas is secondary, the tech should be HD, easy to repair-replace and as mentioned before reliable.
Any input is apreciated!!

So i guess i forgot to mention that i aint fixed to a 1999 model but it should be somewhere between 4000-7000 $ and it seems these are the years in that price bracket.

You're going to have a major body style change from 99-2000. Thats about it, the other things you are looking to have/want are available on about any model.
