Default bose sound quality when getting a sound system

I was looking into buying my buddie's w7 sub and amp. My only concern is I want to keep the stock head unit and bose speakers. Will It effect the sound quality of the bose system?

Go for it, the added base is great. I just put two 10" subs in my Silverado and the SQ improved 100%. I also have the Bose system but I wasn't getting the base I wanted but now it rocks.

I added 2 alpine type R 12s and am pushing it with a rockford power amp...sounds great w/ factory bose. I went with the rockford amp to have the bass **** capability to adjust the bass directly from the amp. Here is the link to the thread I posted with my install...

Hey atm, where are you planning on putting your W7?
I want to add a W7 behind my third row but I'm not quite sure it will fit. JL makes some bada$$ subs.

Atm0001- That W7 will make the system sound amazing... that is one sick sub! How much power are you going to put to it and what kind of enclosure?

Cams-
You could probably fiberglass behind the plastic over the back wheel...someone posted a pic a long time ago of a 10 that looked semi-stock. I just added two type r 10's... but i wanted to be able to still put the back seats down just incase i need to put stuff back there so I built this with my dad. Just need to get some cool grilles
