Default Buying a 2000 suburban Homelink Question

I am buying a 2000 suburban LS with leather interior and it doesn't have the homelink transmitter. Can I add a console from a 2001+ and will it just plug and play?

I don't have a sunroof so should I look for a console like mine but without sunroof controls, unscrew the torx screw and plug the harnesses right in?

Default RE: Buying a 2000 suburban Homelink Question

You are 100% correct on all counts and it is plug-and-play.
