Have you checked the obvious things like fuses, and relays?

The blower speed select board can go bad, but usually it goes out one speed at a time. Sitll it's a possibility. I don't know where it is on the Tahoe, but it's typically mounted near the blower motor. On my wife's Jeep, it's mounted to the blower housing. It's a small board with a number of zigzag wires mounted to it; one for each speed. They're the only other things I could think of.

what exactly was your Tahoe doing before you fixed it? mines doing the same thing like the original post states, I don't want to buy a blower if its the resistor, so maybe I might have the same issue you had so I could maybe change out the resistor, thank u

Default 2009 Suburban LTZ

I have a 09 Suburban LTZ. The back blows out hot/cold perfectly. I can change the power of blow and everything. But the front doesn’t blow at all, unless moving then it flows decently well. I have replaced the resistor and checked the motor and it is perfectly fine. When I plug the motor into the resistor sometimes I get lucky and it’ll work. But it only works for maybe a day, if I’m lucky. Sometimes it’ll quit working within the hour. I have no clue what else to do.
