Cylinder six misfire and A/C hose problem in a 97 tahoe
My name is John and i drive a 97 tahoe with the 5.7 SFI engine and its 4WD... i am having a couple of problems with it. The service engine soon light is on and when i got it scanned it says its a cylinder six misfire. I have replaced the spark plugs, distributor and rotor cause i got it a couple of months ago.
It idles rough but doesnt seem to have a problem when cruising. Also the check engine light goes off after driving nonstop on the freeway for 50 or more miles.
Also after i recharged the AC, it started discharging liquid from the high port. i thought i might need a new hose assembly for that but if you think different, i would like to pick your brain.
Thanks,
John

Welcome to the forum
I noticed you didn't list the spark plug wires... I would be suspicious of the wires for a misfire also double and triple check that you have them all in the right firing order.
As for the discharging at the port, the schrader valve is probably stuck or bent
