Default Denali vs SLT brakes

Be kind to a new member...

I have a 2008 Yukon XL Denali and a 2007 Yukon XL SLT and I have noticed a HUGE difference in the braking performance. Is there a difference in the braking systems or could it just be the difference between the pads?

Both cars have over 100k miles and i assume the pads have been changed at some point prior to my owning them. Thoughts?

Not sure then.could be better tech.or someone did some major upgrade's.in fact
it could be that you have dual piston cailper on 1 and single piston on the other

I seriously doubt there is any difference in the braking systems between your two vehicles. I would bet the performance difference you are experiencing is due to newer brake system parts, i.e. newer rotor, newer pads, newer brake fluid.
