Default diesel operating temp

our 99 suburban diesel runs at about 185 degrees hwy cruising, a little hotter climbing hills, at least that's what the gauge shows.

i'm wondering if 185 is normal, or maybe cooler that it should be ?? can't find info on normal opearting temp in the manual.

thnx ks

Default RE: diesel operating temp

Those temps are spot on sounds like she's running good, keep in mind also that guages are not 100% accurate.
