Driveline Noise/Clunk

Driveline Noise/Clunk
My wife drives a 2000 2500 2w/d with 134k miles on it. Sometimes while driving, it feels like the trans slips. It may do this a few times a trip,or it may go a couple of weeks without anything. I read the service bulletin about driveline/transmission clunks and this seems to match our problem. I was wondering if any of you have had this problem, and if there is anything that can help eliminate this hard shifting. Thanks for any and all of your thoughts and/or comments.

RE: Driveline Noise/Clunk
Jwlo811,
Have you ever had your transmission serviced???(fluid & filter) I think they recommend every 40K. GM transmissions are known to had problems with bad valves.I personally change mine every 25K. I have 192K on it now with no problems. I know other people that have had their GM transmissions go out at less than 50K.
Good Luck , Dondobe
