Default Help with rear camera install?

Hello all,
I just purchased a 2007 Suburban. It has NAV and CD/ DVD . I'd like to install the rear camera if it's not too expensive? What all do I need? Part #'s would be helpful! Is it wired already? Like do I just need the camera?
Thanks Brad

Congratulations on the purchase of your 2007 Suburban.

You may want to look at the GM lockpick Gen6 device from Coastal E tech. It will provide you with inputs for multiple camera's. You could add a rear and front camera. It also allows for in motion use of the Nav and DVD / Aux video input. This is a nice feature when you have a front passenger. They also sell cameras, if you haven't already purchased one.

GEN 6 GM LOCKPICK

Since your truck doesn't currently have the rear backup camera, if you decide to add one, without the device above or an alternative, I believe that you will have to get the dealer to program the nav unit to accept the camera.

Good luck with your install
